A 50-year-old woman from Husdon Bay has died after a single vehicle incident on Highway 9.

On Thursday at 5:40 a.m., Hudson Bay RCMP received the report. Investigation determined the vehicle had left Highway #9 and came to rest at the bottom of an embankment.

The woman was located nearby, and she was declared dead by EMS at the scene.

A man also received medical care for non-life-threatening injuries.

Highway #9 has since reopened. Saskatchewan RCMP continues to investigate.
