The Saskatchewan RCMP has charged a 24-year-old woman from Biggar with arson in relation to the restaurant that burnt down on Main Street in her community.
On September 25, Biggar RCMP received a report of a building on fire on Main Street in Biggar. The Biggar Fire Department attended the scene, as well. No injuries were reported, but the building was partially destroyed, and the remainer was demolished.
The Snow White Restaurant was owned by Maggie Tan, who ran the business at that location for more than 30 years.
Recently, on Sunday, Biggar RCMP arrested Tami Falcon. She is charged with one count of arson and one count of failure to comply with a probation order.
She is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on December 13th.
