Highway Hotline is reporting that numerous Saskatchewan highways are not fit for travel this morning following last night’s blast of blowing snow. There are even some closures south of Saskatoon and Regina today.
The Hotline says travel is not recommended on nearly everything east of Saskatoon, which encompasses Humboldt, Wadena, Watrous and Foam Lake.
Highways 41, 5, 16, 219, 7 and 45 out of Saskatoon are all impacted by this statement, as well as all highways surrounding Rosetown, Kyle, Outlook, Regina and Fort Qu’Appelle.
The closures reside on Highway 11 between Dundurn and Kenaston, as well on highways 11, 1, 306, 33 and 46 out of Regina, so if you plan on leaving Regina today, good luck to you.
