There has been a train derailment of approximately 30 train cars west of Saskatoon between Dalmeny and Langham.

Dalmeny Police Service posted on social media around 8 p.m. last night that it had been advised the cars were not carrying anything that would cause immediate concern.  The derailment is near Range Road 3070 and Highway 305.

Police confirm that there were 13 cars that partially left the tracks and say there is no danger to the public as none of the cars were compromised.

However, there are several crossings that will be affected until CN can clear the tracks. One area resident said eight of the cars were completely tipped over and as of the posting last night Highway 305 was not closed to traffic.
