Warman Fire Rescue stated on social media that there was an early morning house fire in the community Wednesday.

The duplex on Redwood Crescent was fully engulfed when fire crews rolled up with flames going through the roof.

The attached unit was heavily damaged, but the post indicates adjacent homes were saved and that the family escaped safely thanks to working smoke detectors.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
