Saskatoon has had its second homicide of the May long weekend, marking the city’s fourth homicide of the year.
At approximately 11:00 p.m. on May 18, 2025, police responded to a report of a person suffering from a stab wound in the area of Avenue B South and Spadina Crescent. A 43-year-old male was found and transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
