Shortly before 3:30 this morning the Saskatchewan RCMP issued an advisory regarding an increased police presence on Highway #11. This is approximately five kilometres south of MacDowall and is in relation to an ongoing investigation.

RCMP say the southbound lanes of Highway #11 are closed for an indeterminate amount of time. With the detours in place, motorists should expect delays.

The Highway Hotline indicates there was a motor vehicle collision on Highway 11, 5 Km south of Macdowall. Both southbound lanes remain closed.

MacDowall is approximately 30 kilometres southwest of Prince Albert.
