On June 9th, a group of passionate cyclists including Darrell Fox, Terry’s brother, started their ride from Vancouver, BC to St. John’s Newfoundland, on the National Ride of Hope. They will be covering 7000 kms over 32 days, to raise money for cancer research, and continue Terry’s dream of a world without cancer, which began 45 years ago.
As the Ride of Hope makes its way across Canada, their goal is to raise one million dollars for the Terry Fox Foundation.
Darrell Fox and the cyclists will be arriving in Saskatchewan today.
To date, the Terry Fox Foundation has raised over 950 million dollars and funded over 1300 innovative cancer research projects, bringing hope and health to millions of Canadians.
