A vehicle trying to evade a Corman Park Police Service check stop last Thursday smashed into a streetlight at Clarence Avenue and Melville Street.
Corman Park Police say the check stop was set up at Middleton Road and Clarence Avenue between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m.
There were 10 suspended drivers and impoundments by alcohol and drugs plus two Criminal Code over .08 charges, and criminal dangerous driving, including the one who tried to evade the check stop. The police service says check stop will continue all summer.
