Avenue C will be closed between Cynthia and 45th streets Sunday starting at 8:00 a.m. for a water connection repair. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take one day to complete.
Additionally, various downtown roads will have closures and lane restrictions today 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the annual Pride Parade. The parade will have a new route this year to accommodate closures at Friendship Park and on Broadway Bridge. Detour signs will be in place. Drivers are reminded to drive carefully and watch for participants.
Saskatoon Transit will temporarily adjust detour routes that currently run on Victoria Avenue and the Traffic Bridge during this event. Routes 8, 81, 82, 84, and 86 will use 8th Street, Idylwyld Drive, and the Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge to maintain service to and from the downtown area. Travel along Victoria Avenue, and the Traffic Bridge will resume once event-related closures are lifted.

The following roads will be closed between 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the Pride Parade.

-22nd Street between 1st and 4th avenues
-1st Avenue between 20th and 22nd streets
-20th Street between 1st and 3rd avenues
-3rd Avenue between 20th Street and Spadina Crescent
-Spadina Crescent between 2nd and 3rd avenues
