The 2025 WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup finals have landed in Prince Albert looking to build off the success of last summers World Cup Group Stage. Eight different teams from around the world will be calling Prince Albert home until July 13, including the hosts Canada, Argentina, New Zealand, Venezuela, Australia, Dominican Republic, Japan, and the United States. Aside from the last summer, this isn’t the first time the city has hosted a major softball event. Back in 2018, Prince Albert was the host for the World Junior finals that had lots of success. This time around has been a little more challenging, more notably the rising costs.
