Around 7 a.m. on Friday morning at Avenue I South and 13th Street, a man had started his car to warm it up while he cleaned the snow from his windows when a male hopped into the vehicle and drove off.

Police located the vehicle and tried to pull it over, but the driver refused to stop and was operating the vehicle in a dangerous manner. The vehicle was later located abandoned in the 1200 block of 20th Street West. The suspect was located nearby.

Saskatoon Police say today (Monday that a 28-year-old man has been charged with Evade Police, Robbery, Dangerous Driving, Impaired Driving and Breach of Probation.
