Brian and Pat Jacobson of Spiritwood were announced as winners of the Candle Lake Cottage package Thursday, the early bird prize in the Hospital Home Lottery.

The package includes a cottage at Candle Lake, a jacuzzi hot tub, two memberships to the Candle Lake Golf Resort and $10,000. The Early Bird prize announcement came more than 24 hours before the Hospital Home Lottery’s Absolute Final Deadline to purchase tickets of Midnight, November 4. Lottery proceeds are split by the Royal University, St. Paul’s and Saskatoon City Hospital Foundations. The Grand Prize is a $1.6 million showhome in Edgemont Park Estates, plus $50,000 cash. In addition, the 50-50 total sale are at $1.2 million and rising. The final amount is to be split by the winner and the respective Hospital Foundations. The complete list of winners will be released November 24.
