The Saskatoon Airport Authority says there was an emergency landing of a Boeing 7-47 at the airport yesterday (Thurs) afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
It is a cargo plane based out of the U.S. operated by Kalitta Air.
CJ Dushinski at Skyxe says the aircraft was going from Cincinnati, Ohio to Anchorage, Alaska when an emergency alarm prompted a diversion to Saskatoon.
She says the aircraft landed safely with no injuries reported and it was able to taxi under its own power to the apron.
The plane will remain onsite at the Saskatoon Airport until all the necessary inspections are completed and the aircraft has been given the proper authorization to depart.
